One editor, one inbox. Corrections get answered first and always.
editor@homyprovement.com
That is the only address, it reaches the person whose name is on the articles, and there is no contact form because a form is just an email with extra steps and a spam problem.
What gets answered first
Corrections, always. If a specification is wrong, a price is stale, a code requirement has changed or a link is broken, that is the most useful message you can send and it gets a reply. Include the page and the specific claim if you can — "the slope limit on the Ariens page" is enough.
Manufacturer corrections, on the same terms as anyone else's. If we have your product's specification wrong, tell us and we will fix it and note the correction. We will not remove an accurate criticism, and we will say publicly if we are asked to. The reasoning is on our editorial policy.
Product suggestions. We cover eight products in depth rather than eighty superficially, so we add slowly. But if something in one of our categories is being badly served by the existing coverage, that is exactly the kind of thing we want to hear about.
What does not get answered
Guest post offers, link insertion requests and sponsored content pitches. We do not accept any of them and there is no price at which that changes. These are deleted unread; there is no need to follow up.
Requests to remove a negative review. See how we handle corrections.
Individual product support questions. We are not the manufacturer and we do not have your serial number. If your gazebo is missing a bag of hardware, the manufacturer's support line will solve it faster than we can.
Response times
We are one person. Corrections are usually answered within a couple of days. Everything else is best-effort, and we would rather reply properly and late than immediately and uselessly.
About the site
Who runs it and why is on about Homyprovement. Methodology and the scoring rubric are on how we review. How the site makes money is on how we are funded.
